We are off to Nicaragua this Wednesday morning, 2 AM. What an exciting time for Craig and I! We will be going with 10 people from our church Foothill Vineyard of San Dimas, California. We'll be taking 220 "school paks" to schools in remote villages in and around Managua and Matagalpa. We will also be bringing baby supplies to an orphanage in a small area of Managua. We've also been asked to help paint one of the schools that we will visit.
We will be going along with our friends Dave and Pam Waters of Mira Ministries. To read about this wonderful ministry and learn more about the school paks go to:

We came across this lovely rooster on the Hawaiian island of Kauai. His vivid teal and orange feathers reminded me of the ocean and sunsets on the islands.

This lovely bird was perching in a tree in Kauai, Hawaii. I'm currently loving this particular hue of blue and red together.
It's L. A. County Fair time. Come and see my work at the Millard Sheets Gallery! The fair runs through the month of September until October 4th.
